Our New Riad is situated absolutely in the centre of the medina, between hotels, and brilliantly located for the souks, the port, the beach and within a stone's throw of the many restaurants and cafes.

Spread over 3 floors, there is a real sense of space and seclusion with lovely coloured tadelakt walls and local furnishings and artefacts.

On the first floor there is an open courtyard area, which, like all riads, offers wonderful coolness on hot afternoons. There are two comfortable, gently exotic bedrooms on this floor. The master bedroom has a fireplace and a very large bed! The other double has a Moroccan style four poster, and a beautiful painted door on the wall. There is also a convenient washroom with WC, bidet, and handbasin, and also a seperate shower head housed in what has been described as a mini mosque/tardis!

Stairs lead up to the 2nd floor to a spacious salon with an open fireplace and dining table, the kitchen set back from the salon by delicate arching. On this level there is also the twin-bedded room, a WC, and a tadelakt hammam (bath) with shower.

The stairs then lead up again to a large sun terrace with an eating and relaxing area, sunbeds, and shades. There is a great panorama, looking over the jumble of rooftops towards the sea. Sundowners are a must!

We also have a simply furnished flat in the same building: 'Petit Babouche', with flexible accomodation which is useful for larger parties / extra children... It has its own WC and shower.

As with 'Chez Jacqueline', Abdul or Nadia can come each day to prepare a simple breakfast for a small supplement per person.
